Medical Marijuana Evaluation and Education Services For A Medical Marijuana Card Recommendation
Medical Marijuana is gaining more and more recognition as an emerging treatment modality by the Medical Board of California.
Prop 215 helps to ensure that Californians suffering serious illnesses may obtain prescriptions for and use medicinal marijuana for medical purposes. The Education and Evaluation Center for Medical Marijuana provides the following evaluation and education services to determine if you are able to qualify for medicinal marijuana use:
- educate patients on the different medical uses and what effects they may experience in the use of cannabis and various cannabinoids
- conduct medical evaluations to determine if the patient and the patient's health could receive a benefit from using marijuana to aid in the treatment of cancer, anorexia, AIDS, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, migraine, or any other illness for which marijuana provides relief. This determination will be based on the following:
- the examination of the patient and the patient's history
- develop a plan of treatment with defined objectives
- provision of informed consent including discussing the side effects of use
- periodic patient review of the treatment's efficacy
- consultation for the patient
- proper record keeping supporting the Doctor's the decision to recommend the use of medical marijuana for the patient
- issuance of physician statement and recommendation, as deemed appropriate
- 24 hour verification of the physician recommendation via GreenLife docs.com online Electronic Medical Records
